Love Review丨Love ran over the Married Couples Invitational

Green grass holds affection, breeze carries gentle joy. On May 20th, 2026, this love-filled special day, Foshan Golf Club hosted the 5th Married Couples Invitational.

Fifty-one couples, a total of 102 members and guests gathered together. Bonded by golf and accompanied by love, they embraced this exclusive romantic rendezvous. Attendance hit a new record compared with previous sessions. Every couple brought fresh warmth and vitality to the five-year-old romantic event, blending perfectly the elegance of golf and the sweetness of love across the green course.

Sign-in Ceremony

When registration began, a summer rain failed to dampen the couples' enthusiasm, and the venue was immersed in romantic vibes.

To compete for the Best Couple Dress Award, every pair dressed in well-matched outfits, ranging from simple coordinated styles to exquisite complementary looks. Every detail reflected mutual affection and tacit understanding, forming a delightful sight.
The Club prepared heart-shaped photo frames and wooden signing cards. Couples signed their names side by side, imprinting their love on the cards and placing them into frames to freeze precious romantic moments. Each couple also received a fresh rose as a sincere blessing.
A rose-filled love envelope on the backdrop stood out, with removable rose-shaped decorative boards inside. Guests lingered here, taking intimate photos and smiling hand in hand. Cheerful laughter echoed all around the registration area.

Tee-off Ceremony

Nothing is more touching than the gracious gift from nature. The drizzle during registration served as a gentle prelude to this romantic gathering. As the tee-off ceremony drew near, the rain faded away quietly. Touched by the tender affection, nature blessed all couples favorably, lending extra providence and perfection to this lovely date.

The romantic atmosphere reached its peak at the tee-off ceremony. The 54 couples walked hand in hand side by side onto the putting green. Dressed elegantly, they wore joyful smiles and stood together on the lush grass.
With the official opening call, the invitational tournament officially commenced. The grace of golf intertwined with the romance of love, and beautiful love stories were ready to unfold on the spacious course.

Romantic Moments

The tournament has optimized its competition format, changing from an 18-hole Two Ball Couple Stroke Play to an 18-hole Two Ball Couple Scramble. It effectively offsets skill gaps between partners. The fair and inclusive rules allow couples to cooperate effortlessly and enjoy the game, experiencing the true meaning of mutual support and complementary love through teamwork.

The couples played gracefully across the course with poised swings and steady putts, showcasing the charm of golf. Gentle affection lingered amid putts, while fellow players cherished mutual rapport during strokes. Everyone savored the leisurely fun of the game.

Couples encouraged and cooperated tacitly with each other. Every precise drive and composed putt became precious romantic memories of their journey together.

The winning couple claimed the honor with their well-coordinated outfits and elegant demeanour, a well-deserved victory.

The most unforgettable and atmospheric highlight was the special Kiss Cam segment. This classic stadium interactive game brimmed with warm romance at the dinner banquet. Couples who shared kisses or affectionate gestures would receive exclusive gifts.
At first, people felt a little shy, with only a few couples bravely showing their love. As the atmosphere warmed up, more couples got immersed in the tender vibe. They embraced and kissed openly amid warm wishes, freely expressing their deep affection. Applause and cheers filled the venue. Blended with warmth and joy, every heartfelt moment became the most precious memory of the banquet.
